On Saturday I had one of those days where few of the nearly 100 pictures I took seemed worth the effort of processing and posting. It happens from time to time, and I know enough to realize that it just means to get out and shoot some more.

I walked the Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve in Clifton Park, New York. Lots of nice trails, and often a great place for birding (if you are into that) and some interesting historic sites along the way. I stuck pretty much to one of the trails that skirts along a portion of the old Erie Canal. The trail follows the tow path. The old canal is a very slow moving body of water... but it does have some very slow current in it as evidenced by this shot.
