While walking along the Taconic Ridge Trail a few weeks ago, there were a few places where the ground beneath the layer of leaves had frozen into forests of vertically align ice crystals. These area crunched beneath our feet. This is one of those areas.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
