![]() There was some confusion in yesterday's post. That little tiny waterfall was NOT Bash Bish Falls. This is! This is the largest waterfall in the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It was so cold the morning we were there that I was freezing as I took the few pictures that I did manage. I was totally unhappy with most of them which is why I did not post any before now. I am still out there cruising photoblogland but sorry to say nothing has made me gasp and say 'WOW' yet today. I have been enjoying the slightly naughty series of pictures being posted by Andy over at Shotage. Too early to say whether it will get the WOW Award, but they are certainly different from the usual Photoblog fare and are evoking some interesting discussion in the comments. Check it out! ![]() I was stopped in my tracks tonight while moving through post after post by this stunning landscape shot of the Yellowstone River, titled 'Winter' by Dennis at LBImaging.. It made me think of the stories of the winter Lewis and Clark spent, not all that far from the Yellowstone, in the Mandan Village. The image epitomizes the bitter cold of the northern Plains. | |
