 I pondered my dwindling file of pictures to post. Most I have rejected over and over again for one reason or another. What was I to post tonight? I fretted and sweated. (not really), and finally told myself to forget it and just go fix some dinner. I whipped together a pot of chili, nothing special, and threw a cornbread mix into an iron skillet and into the oven. As it cooked and simmered, I had new thoughts. Remembering that one objective of a daily blog is documentation of my daily life, I thought, 'why not?' Maybe nothing special. Sure would never win a 'food photo' contest, but it says what was on my mind today. | |
