EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/400 sec | f 5.6 | 70.0mm (35mm equivalent: 105.0mm) | ISO 400

Ah for the good old days when you could mosey on over to RB Wing & Sons and pick up some much needed asbestos goods and maybe a case of dynamite, 'just in case' you needed it!

I have begun shooting some pictures around Albany of little messages from the past that are still there to see if you take the time to look. Some are iconic symbols never to be forgotten, others, like this one, have meaning mostly to those who can remember 'back in the day!'

I was able to abandon my work in the office today around 4PM and it was still daylight!! I rushed around shooting as many shots as I could get. Maybe enough to carry me for a few days.

UPDATE SUNDAY MORNING

WOW Award

I had not planned to make an award today because I simply did not have the time to search for it, but then sometimes it just hits you when you least expect it. So it was today as I strolled through my usual list of sites and landed on Every So Often. John posts lots of great shots but something about this picture, titled 'Eccentric Friends,' would not let me go. I was drawn in and fascinated. WOW, indeed!
