EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/125 sec | f 14.0 | 70.0mm (35mm equivalent: 105.0mm) | ISO 200

At this time of year there is no fruit that quite matches a nice juicy orange. So when my local market ran a special on some huge California Navel oranges, I grabbed a bag. Their intense orange color whispered in my ear, 'Take my picture.' So how could I resist. Now I have a ton of orange pictures and they will pop up from time to time when I am hard up for a shot to post!

WOW Award

Sometimes it is scenic splendor, sometimes it is abstract beauty, sometimes it may be a poignant message about the human state.... but today it is about humor! Janice at Frame of Mind has been experimenting a lot recently with her new camera and her new studio lights. She grabs her subjects as she needs them, enlisting her children, her dog, her parrot, and occasionally one of her cats. Her shot on February 1st titled Fish Tails has to be one of the funniest 'portraits' ever taken. My hat is off to you Janice, you gave me a true belly laugh with this shot!
