EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/15 sec | f 16.0 | 18.0mm (35mm equivalent: 27.0mm) | ISO 100

So I had this vision as I drove by the Egg late last night of a great perspective for catching the light of the setting sun on the Egg. So I drifted out of work a little early to find my spot. Unfortunarely the light was not right from that place so I began to walk and shoot as I walked. From the base of the Corning Tower (tall building in yesterday's post), I had a nice view of the Egg, one of the four Agency Buildings and the massive stone facade of the the Plaza's podium. The round structure in front of the wall is a fascinating feature on its own. That and a matching one below my position form the primary air intake for the ventilation system for the entire complex. You can get a sense for the scale by comparing to the size of the cars on the road.
