![]() I wanted to depart a little bit today from the images of wanton disposal of our past before it is really even our past. When the buyers of the miscellaneous stuff from the Stadium (see last to day's pictures) came to take it away, someone left a pile of nuts and bolts on top of the home team dugout. Covered in a thin veneer of snow, the contrast really struck me. Flashback Forgingahead has attracted a much larger audience than it had in its early days. I thought I would institute a periodic (maybe weekly) feature of highlighting one of my older pictures that, unless you have been one of the few to look back at all my achives, you probably missed. This picture, titled Wildflowers in Lisha Kill Nature Preserve, was posted last June 26. I like it for today because as it snows outside it reminds me that better weather and lots of beautiful wildflowers will soon be with us again. | |
