![]() So I got my first roll of B&W film that I shot with my Welta Weltax Medium Format camera. Overall I was quite disappointed. Not in the camera. Not in the film. But in my seeming inability to remember that I MUST set the focus on this camera manually. Most of the shots were simply out of focus (as is this one). But for some portion of the film community, this is a look to be cherished. I must admit that in some cases it kind of grew on me. So this shot was taken at a park about a block from my new apartment. This is the remnant of a set of locks on the Erie Canal. I am not perfectly clear on the exact history of this set of locks, as there were several generations of the canal during the 19th century. I shot an entire roll of Ilford ISO 50 PanF film at this location and will post a few more that are marginally interesting. | |
