Along one of the many sidewalks and byways of Central Park there are many entrepreneurial businesses. Artists selling their art, venders selling food, face painters, and even a man telling your future based on your hands. The young man having his fortune told was obviously hearing some good news!

Update Tuesday Morning

A couple of things about this picture. First, Dean asked about the young man's nose. It is very red. Because I was pretty careful with the selection of the subjects during my processing, I checked the original and discovered that indeed this man does have a pretty red nose. I think my processing (which was aimed at bringing out better detail in the faces and hands) may have emphasized this redness a bit, but it did not create it.

In looking at the picture to check this I tried a different crop. While this loses the sign, it brings much more focus to the the faces and hands, which are, in the end, the real subject of the picture. What do you think?
