![]() There are some days when I cannot believe how I screw up my photographs. This morning I went over to the Golden Krust Bakery to get some pictures of the aftermath. It was pretty amazing and I had nearly free reign to walk where I wanted and shoot pictures along with several others with the same idea as me. So I took 40 or 50 shots and then rushed off to work. Then I discovered that for reasons I cannot remember at all, I had at some point set my camera for the lowest resolution, lowest quality settings. I thought I was shooting RAW, but in fact I was shooting JPEGs of very low quality. Damn! Anyway, I salvaged a few but opted to post them over at my Flickr site. The first batch went up tonight, and I may post a few more tomorrow. Today's shot is in the Tim Walker Tradition. I hope Tim has a chance to see this as he must know he was on my mind when I shot this series of pictures around a gaudily painted corrugated metal airplane hanger. Unfortunately, these shots were also part of my camera setting fiasco, so I was unable to process these as well as I would have had I been shooting RAW. | |
