With sunsets like this, is there any wonder that ancient Egyptians worshiped Ra, the Sun God? Taken February 1979, from the banks of the Nile River in Luxor, Egypt. I have been thoroughly enjoying myself pulling out my old slides and finding one gem after another. My style of shooting was similar in those early days, but different as well. One thing that has surprised me is the number of pictures I used to make with people in them... a very rare subject for me today. Technical Details: Nikkormat FTn Vivitar 28mm Kodachrome (64?) Exposure: Who knows? It was nearly 30 years ago!!

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
