 This is the followup to yesterday's post. The building in the foreground is the back of the same burned out motel I pictured yesterday. You can make out the road cut for Interstate 64 as it passes through the Rockfish Gap. The valley in the distance is the Rockfish Valley...once quite rural and farm filled but now on the fringes of suburban development extending westward from Charlottesville, the home of the University of Virginia. | |
