Neilson Farm, Saratoga Battlefield
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/250 sec | f 5.6 | 35.0mm (35mm equivalent: 52.0mm) | ISO 100

While out last Friday I found a back entrance to the Saratoga Battlefield that led me to a part of the site where the American army encamped during late August and September 1777, before engaging with the General Burgoyne and the British army in early October. This house is a reconstructed farmhouse that was occupied by General Gates (I think). The area surrounding this house was used as an encampment by some 8000 American soldiers.

Shot with a circular polarizer.
