Peeling Paint #2
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/250 sec | f 5.6 | 60.0mm (35mm equivalent: 90.0mm) | ISO 100

Yesterday I finished my most recent proposal effort and made my electronic submission about 32 hours BEFORE the deadline! I feel pretty good about this effort and have grand hopes that it will succeed. If so, my status in the office will be enhanced. From a miserable 2005, when I wrote something like 12 proposals and only got one meager award, to 2006 when I have had success after success has been quite a ride. Last year at this time I dreaded my days in the office. Today, I don't mind the long hours and weekends at all.

One cost of all this work that I am not too happy about though is its impact on my photography. Last year, evenings after work were devoted to getting out to shoot pictures. Now it just does not seem to happen much. I leave the office around 6 or 7 and all I want to do is go home. And now it is dark after work and will be until March.

So, until I can get myself out again. It looks like archives.
