Today was the first day this season that has actually felt like winter. There was a dusting of snow on the ground when I got up, but it was gone before I left for work. But tonight, coming home, it was cold...wintertime cold. Which made me think of hot, homemade soup and fresh, firm homemade bread. This old shot of a soup I made back in December 2005 was as close as I could come to the real thing though. Thursday I will be off for another blitz trip. This time spending the day in Knoxville, Tennessee. The camera is packed and I will try to get a few shots. I need to take some pictures where I am going (a busy truck inspection site) for work, so maybe I will get creative and post one or two here as well.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
