The Snow Arrives
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/320 sec | f 4.5 | 24.0mm (35mm equivalent: 36.0mm) | ISO 200

Well for those of us in this part of upstate NY it has been an unbelievably mild winter...until today. It started last night, with a few inches on the ground when I retired around midnight. I awoke to about a foot, which I shoveled. Decided to work at home, and by early afternoon I had to shovel again...this time a little less than a foot. Now, it is around 5 PM and I know I must bundle up again and go out to do round three. We must be pushing 30 inches total now and the wind is driving drifts. And still it falls.

This was out my back door. Not a selective color shot, though I did boost the color saturation a touch (alright, more than a touch). There is no B&W conversion in this picture though.
