 Shot on Ilford Delta 400, Yashica Electro 35 GT. As I believe I mentioned in a prior post, I discovered that the electronic shutter on the Yashica Electro 35 GT that I got on eBay for practically nothing was not functioning correctly. After some communication with Mark at 4x6 and also with the Yashica Guy, I concluded the problem was in what is known as the 'Pad of Death.' While I studied instructions for repair, I concluded it was well beyond my meager talents so instead I bought another Electro 35, this time a slightly newer model. This camera cost a bit more than the first (not much more) but is much cleaner and after testing I determined that the shutter is working correctly. So I am back in business. | |
