![]() I drove past this cemetery a few times before finally stopping to take a look. It's a classic New England cemetery filled with great headstones carved with the usual array of 'death's heads' (the earlier stones) gradually morphing into the classic 'cherub' by the early 19th Century. According to a site I found, the stones in this yard span from 1713 to about 1840. Over the next several days (weeks?), I'll share a few of the shots I took of some of these stones. | |
