Beep Beep
EXIF: KONICA MINOLTA MAXXUM 5D | 1/500 sec | f 5.6 | 70.0mm (35mm equivalent: 105.0mm) | ISO 100

I was greeted into the wildlife refuge by a number of real roadrunners. I can't recall ever seeing one before, but upon entering the refuge the first thing I saw was one of these birds literally running down the road next to me! And I must have seen at least 50 of them before my visit ended. They were fast and upon seeing me they had only one objective...to hide in the brush. Which made getting a decent photo very difficult.

Oh yeah, I did see a coyote too, but was unable to get a picture.

(I don't know if the Roadrunner cartoons are still made, but in my youth the classic, neverending conflict between the Roadrunner and Wile E Coyote was a cartoon treat that we never tired of).
