 From my trip to Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. When I last posted a picture of these prickly pears someone asked if I ate one. I was unaware they were edible. Since then I have found them iun my local market at something like $2 EACH! And there must have been 200 of them on this one cactus! No, I did not buy one. But if someone sends me a recipe on how to use them, I might. | |
