![]() Another evening shot in the French Quarter. Interesting element about this Jesus statue is that during Hurricane Katrina, the thumb and forefinger on the left hand were broken off. Modern legend now has it that the finger was lost as Jesus flicked the hurricane from a direct hit on the city. (courtesy of Wikipedia) Thanks for comments on yesterday's shot. I had recently watched a tutorial on split toning in Lightroom and was flipping through some old shots looking for a good candidate. This ceiling shot had been a definite throwaway back when originally taken, but I found it worked well in the duotone mode. I'll tell you that it also makes a really nice print. | |
