 One thing is very true about photography. Most of us have a pretty serious gadget-jones, willing to accept ANY excuse as a REASON why we must have this or that thing to make our kit more perfect. So as I bemoan my direction in photography, I went shopping. First online then to a real store where I purchased a new Sony HVL-F42AM flash. I didn't have much around the house to play with so I grabbed this old broken bisque doll head I found a few years ago and a couple of little ceramic vases and threw a red table cloth on the kitchen table, set the flash and camera for wireless and set the flash up at an angle. I was shooting in darkness so the focus is not as sharp as I would have liked, but it was a fun little exercise to get familiar with the new toy. | |
