I wonder what it is about old churches? It seems that wherever you g there are these massive old structures, beautiful in detail, but underused, neglected, and often crumbing. I don't know the story of this old place of worship in the south end of Troy, NY. It appears to still be in use by a local congregation of some sort, but has clearly seen much better days.

Here's a little long photo for you. Taken at The Crossings, a town park not far from my home. My albanyshooter cohort Steve Johnson has been posting a lot of very impressive shots from this park, so I decided to swing by and check it out this evening after work. I haven't unveiled my photos from the visit yet.
