 Bear with me everyone...I still have a bunch more older pictures taken while we still had leaves and blue skies. November has set in heavily...gray, cold, dreary, wet,...my least favorite month of the year. I probably should shoot some pics that illustrate that dreariness...but not feeling up to it! Ha! An update on the WOW Award. Long time visitors to forgingahead may recall that I used to periodically award what I called a WOW Award to posts on fellow photobloggers sites that I was particularly attracted to. An online friend, Lisa Saarloos, had helped me create an award certificate that I posted on this site when I made the award. Unfortunately, my ISP (Roadrunner) made some changes in web hosting recently that forced me to migrate the links for those certificates to a new URL. I am not about to go back to all of those old posts and revise the URL...so if you are scanning back through the posts and trip into a WOW Award you will now see only the alternate text for the image, as the link to the actual certificate no longer exists. As for the award itself, I just don't spend the time visiting sites like I used to and must admit that the WOW Award is, for all intents, defunct. This change by my ISP sort of underscored that sad fact for me. | |
