![]() One thing you can't help but notice wandering the streets of Cohoes (my home town) is that while it is a city that passed its prime about 50 years ago, it is now undergoing a revitalization. The entire stretch of the downtown main street (actually called Remsen St.) is in various stages of restoration. Many businesses have found good real estate bargains and have chosen to fix rather than replace the architectural structure of the city. Even more interesting is the influx of artists opening studios and galleries. We can only hope, I suppose, that this positive turn of events will survive the current economic challenges. | |
