 Why is it that geese on a pond seem so peaceful. But get them on the land, betweeen where you are and where you want to be and suddenly they are menacing and territorial? All of us at Five Rivers last week had read and laughed about our friend Bennett's experiences with one of the geese up there. And last week, the goslings were newly hatched, so mom and dad geese were particularly watchful of our crowd, though we had them significantly outnumbered this time. | |
