![]() Ok, let's get this one out of the way. The obligatory Albany picture. The Empire State Plaza, seat of government for the State of New York. A monument to former governor and US vice president Nelson Rockefeller. The Plaza itself is huge and dominates the city's skyline. In this picture, we see two of the most prominent landmarks, the Erastus Corning Tower and The Egg. The tower, which is the tallest building in Albany, was named after a long time Democratic Machine Mayor of Albany. The Egg is a fine arts center with several theaters including a large auditorium for plays and concerts. There is more to the Plaza, but for now, that's all I plan to show for a while. | |
