Theme Thursday: Containers Perhaps a bit macabre, but these crypts, set into the side of hill are containers for all eternity. I was unaware that during the nineteenth century this was, apparently, a quite opulent means for assuring your place, and your family's place, for the future. My photo of the day celebrates the firework festivals of summertime. We will see many over the next few days I suppose, but this shot capture the feeling of the display in a new way. Enjoy.

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
