Ok, so here’s the thing tonight. I have spent the better part of an hour using the Randomizer trying, trying hard, to find a good photoblog. The kind of site that makes me stop and want to wander around. I must have looked at a couple of hundred sites. Well, not one did it for me. NOT ONE!! I don’t even feel up to looking anymore. And I just wanted to find a “Picture of the Day.”

Oh well.

I can only hope that someone else doing the same thing, doesn’t feel the same about forgingahead. But, you never know.

As I mentioned yesterday, I am up to my ass in work so have had little chance to shoot anything new. I did get myself totally lost in the City of Rensselaer, which is right across the river from Albany. Strangely laid out city. Street just end when you think they will take you someplace. There was one road I took that left me feeling I had left the real world way way way back there someplace. I mean, I grew up in the Blue Ridge, so I am familiar with backwoods folks, and this was that type of neighborhood and I was no more than 2 or 3 miles from the heart of New York state’s capital.

Getting so lost reminded me of this older shot I took back in March from the Corning Tower. That rat’s nest of roadways directs much of the daily traffic into and out of the major state office building complex.

It’s been that kind of day. Lost in the maze.

This shot previously seen on my Photo.Net portfolio.

No picture of the day today, sorry!
