Did not have a chance to shoot today though after I got home this evening I tried to shoot the moon (hmmm, that doesn't sound quite right!) over the river. But my little camera just doesn't make the grade for night shots. Anyway, this is a shot I did last Saturday on my early morning trek. I was going to grab a nice diner breakfast here but they didn't open until 9 am and I was there around 7:15. This is one of the great Albany landmarks, located up in the industrial north end of the city. I decided to choose the first picture that made me stop and look for more than a few seconds as my Pic of the Day. And this one did it for me. Can you imagine actually riding this ferris wheel?? Why I wonder did they put it so close to the edge of the cliff?

I shoot mostly digital but do still pop a roll of film from time to time. I process my own B&W film (120 and 35mm) which I am scanning with an Epson Perfection 3170 scanner.
