 I was surprised to find a cluster of maybe 8 or 9 of these snails alongside the road in a busy urban area. Sometimes you really don't know where you will find a little bit of nature at work. My Pic of the Day: I have selected two pictures for my pic of the day (well, I didn't pick even one yesterday). First I was struck by the nice sentiment about what drives us to shoot the types of pictures we do by Obelix and liked the shot that went with the discussion. I wandered the site for a short while and found lots of interesting photos. I will return. Second, my friend Tom over at Tobogranyte shot this stunning portrait of a man down on his luck in Boston. Tom has given me quite a story that went with this shot, so at the LEAST it deserves to be recognized as special. Please check it out. | |
