Photographer at Work

A few members of our local photography group went out this morning for a hike. We started out in less than ideal weather, but as the day went on the clouds cleared and we actually had a beautiful, clear day. Our hike took us through a gorge formed by the Plotterkill, a tributary of the Mohawk River. With all the rain in recent weeks, the water levels were great for the waterfalls and small cascades. We worked on slow shutter speed water shots and a few other creative ideas. All in all, a nice trip.

In this shot one of our members does what every good photographer must do... risk his life for the picture!!

Something I have not done for awhile:
Pic of the Day:
I have been following links from the comments on some of my favorite sites and fell into LB Imaging and really liked this picture.
