![]() This picture is sort of a followup to the one of my bedroom I posted a couple of days ago. David commented on that shot how it illustrated the difference between America and Britain when it cam to the adoption of technology like TV. While I should be embarrased to post a shot of myself in my underwear, this illustrates a cultural phenomenon of the fifties. Our family had one of the only televisions on our block in Schenectady, NY so each Sunday night, our house became the place to be for the kids who wanted to watch the Walt Disney show (can't remember the actual show name). I can still remember 'Uncle' Walt introducing the Mickey Mouse or Pluto cartoon or some other early Disney entertainment.
