 I was talking to my Mother a while ago and mentioned to her that I have finished my nearly year long excursion through my Father's collection of slides. It became excruciatingly difficult to sort through them and decide which were ones I wanted to include on this site. The point of this site is really about how my Dad's and my own pictures reflect aspects of my personal life (after all, the names of the site is 'Scanning MY Life). But many of the later trays of slides were of time when I was no longer a regular part of my parents' daily lives. This is a picture of my Mother taken at their home near Binghamton, NY with Fritz and two of their dearest friends up for a visit from Waynesboro.
